INTEGRATIONS
Meet modern guests’ demands with a hotel keyless entry system
Elevate your hotel experience by embracing RoomRaccoon’s digital key integration, freeing guests from the constraints of traditional check-in processes and physical keys.
How it works
Offer guests full control with self-managed hotel stays.
RoomRaccoon works with top hotel digital key partners to provide the tech-savvy experience that modern guests expect.
Our room key integration works by connecting our PMS to your hotel's electronic lock system. When a guest checks in, the PMS sends a command to the lock system to create a digital key with access permissions for the assigned room and specified duration.
The digital key is then encoded with this information, allowing guests to unlock their room during their stay. This integration ensures seamless coordination between guest check-in/check-out processes and room access control.
Transforming smartphones into mobile keys
By 2025, 70% of hotels worldwide are expected to adopt mobile keys; and with 70% of travelers already using their phones, mobile keys offer a convenient transition.
How does it work? Guests can use their smartphones to access their rooms, allowing them to unlock the door with a simple tap or swipe. This technology eliminates the need for physical keys or cards, making online check-in and check-out a breeze.
Elevate hotel operations with self-service kiosks
Modernize your hotel's lobby and transform your hotel guest experience with the convenience and technology of self-service kiosks.
By offering a fast and efficient way for guests to access their rooms, update their reservations, and handle payments, self-service kiosks free up front desk staff to concentrate on personalized guest services.
Attract a diverse range of guests with sustainable and eco-friendly lodgings
With 71% of tourists expressing a preference for eco-friendly accommodations, plastic-free key solutions can serve as a cornerstone of your property's sustainable marketing strategy.
Provide a contactless guest experience
Provide a smooth, profitable, and contactless pre-arrival guest experience with RoomRaccoon's popular online check-in request, digital guest service menu, and digital room key integration.
Guests can check in, purchase additional services to enhance their stay, and receive their digital room key so they can arrive ready to enjoy their stay.

FAQ: About Hotel Digital Keys
RFID cards are contactless and contain a chip with the access number, allowing guests to enter the room without touching the key card system. The tag inside the card communicates with the card system via radio waves. When the card is close to the door, guests can enter.
RFID Keys: Guests can gain access by tapping or bringing the keycard close to the lock.
NFC Keys: Guests can unlock the door by tapping their NFC-enabled device or smartphone close to the lock.
Mobile App Keys: The app generates a digital key that communicates with the door lock using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a cloud-based system. Guests can use the app to unlock the door by pressing a button within the app when near the lock.
Bluetooth Keys: The Bluetooth-enabled device automatically pairs with the door lock when in proximity, allowing guests to unlock the door without physical contact, and sometimes even without opening the app.
PIN Code or Numeric Code Keys: Guests need to enter a unique code provided by the hotel to gain access.
Biometric Keys: Guests use their biometric data, such as a fingerprint or face scan, to access the door.
