The Cool Part

You've applied, we like what we see on paper, and now we want to see you on video. One of our recruiters will reach out to learn more about you, and after that, you'll send us a two-minute video of yourself (be you, be authentic, be creative).

You'll do a 16 Personalities Exercise and have a conversation with one of our Raccoons if you are applying for a Language position, other than English (depending on the role you've applied for).

The Nitty-Gritty

It's time for your first interview with your soon-to-be manager. This is more of a background check where it’s all about you. A few technical questions may be asked, but nothing too serious. Once you are successful in your first round interview, it’s your chance to wow us with a technical assessment and an IQ test. The technical assessment will be presented back to us in most cases/ Yes, you'll present a pitch on a relevant topic for your role. Impress us, and we'll invite you for a third interview at one of our offices to meet a member of the Senior Leadership Team and get a feel of the company culture.

Onboarding Programme

When a baby raccoon is born, it's called a kit. After your onboarding programme, you will have earned your stripes — "knowledge and insights" to be considered a full-fledged Raccoon. The following two weeks will focus on expanding your knowledge and getting to know your colleagues and the values that fuel our growth culture. Prepare for training, workshops, meetings, activities and lots of fun!

1What it's like working at RoomRaccoon?
RoomRaccoon is a fast-growing SaaS company in the hospitality industry. We're all about changing the future regarding hotel tech, and we have seven departments: Sales, Customer Success, Implementations, Marketing, Product, Recruitment and People.
2How long does the application process take?
We hire four times a year at the beginning of each quarter and aim to complete every application process within a month. Of course, that also depends on the role and where you'll be working. Our third value is clock speed, so based on availability, we could finalise this process within a week or two!
3I applied previously and I wasn't successful. Can I try again?
Absolutely! Especially if you've reflected on our feedback last time and are ready to show us you've got what it takes.
4I can't find a role suitable for me. What should I do?
We post jobs frequently; visit our Careers page regularly, and you might find your perfect fit.
5Can I work remotely, or is it office-based?
We believe in interaction and teamwork, so our job posts are for full-time office-based positions in Breda, Lisbon, Cape Town and Valencia. We also have remote teams based in the US, Mexico, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Croatia.
6What happens if I need to relocate to one of RoomRaccoon's offices?
Hooray, you're moving for us? This relationship is already starting on a good step, and of course, we'll help with the relocation. Our team will be in touch to sort out all the practicalities of moving.
