Pierre's dedication to creating a distinguished guest experience makes 9Wagram stand out in the competitive boutique hotel industry. 

Reducing expenses and saving time with automated workflows

Challenge

Pierre wanted a system that would automate most front desk tasks, allowing the hotel to operate without a traditional front desk while still providing excellent guest experiences. "The front desk is often the most off-putting part of a hotel, especially in smaller establishments," said Pierre. He suggests that greeting guests at the door, without a counter in between, can create a much warmer and more welcoming experience.

Another motivation was to reduce the expense of hiring a full-time front desk manager for minimal returns. “We don’t have anyone behind the desk, but we’re always available,” Pierre added.

Loyal customers are significantly more profitable than acquiring new ones, and that's precisely what Pierre envisioned for 9Wagram. He wanted a system that could deliver exceptional guest experiences and entice previous guests to come back for more.

Solution

Pierre finds it more advantageous to discount prices for their big customers and frequent travellers. Even though these customers can afford to pay more, he offers them special discounts to maintain their loyalty. RoomRaccoon simplifies this process by providing a post-stay document and discount code that can be personalized for birthdays or special holidays. “Rather than lowering our prices in our channel manager, we prefer to offer promotions directly with discount codes,” adds Pierre.

Currently, recurring business accounts for over 40% of the hotel's sales.

Maintaining full control with maximum visibility across multiple channels

Challenge

9Wagram is listed on numerous booking channels, including Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Tripadvisor, Agoda, and Google Hotels. A crucial factor for Pierre in choosing a solution was the ability to automatically adjust and sync room prices across these channels in bulk.

Solution

With RoomRaccoon’s integrated channel manager, Pierre could implement an effective rate management strategy. By using the bulk sync toggle, he can adjust prices across all channels as soon as occupancy reaches a certain level, increasing them slightly when demand is high. This helps him maximize profitability without adding to his workload.
